Restaurant menus

New year, new menu. If you have a restaurant, surely you know that some dishes can not be touched from the menu because they are the favorites. People miss them if they are not served. They are the dishes that represent your kitchen and tell a lot about the history of the restaurant. However, it is also true that these same people like surprises, try new recipes and run out of words, not without new flavors.

At the gates of 2019, it is possible that one of the purposes is to update the dishes of your menu. In this week's article, we are not going to enter the kitchen because it is not our thing but we do recommend some tips to design the menu of your restaurant and conquer your customers, before doing it for the palate.

Colors: yes or no?

We start with an absolute truth: a menu with colors is always more impressive. We have all heard about their psychology. Thus, green is used for healthy food restaurants but warm ones, such as red or orange, are associated with those places where meat is very present. Sure you already have a color (or several) that represent your restaurant. Now all you have to do is move them to the menu so that you do not lose your tuning.

The type letter

The source chosen to write the menu can convey very specific ideas. For example, a type of cursive is synonymous with quality with respect to the service but also to the product.
Sometimes, we think that the most elaborate sources are also the best and the most creative, but this is not always the case. When designing the menu of your restaurant, remember that these calligraphies can be difficult to read and even confuse customers when they imagine the flavors of a dish.

Own life to the dishes

Do not you find it fun to play describe the dishes? As if they had personality and you knew them better than anyone else, the time has come to present them. The words used to describe each food have a lot of power and can convince us to choose one dish or another. Without going any further, there is a study by the University of Colombia published in 2016 that shows that names that include words that mimic the movements of the mouth when eating, are more effective. Before tasting them, we are already salivating. Have you checked it yourself?

Question of numbers ... or prices

A penny up or down seems very little but is decisive. That is why it is essential to adjust the prices of each dish that will appear on the menu of your restaurant. A tip: do not put all the prices in the same place, for example, in a single column. This will prevent the client from seeing them all at a single glance and can choose the cheapest one.

The menu of your restaurant with Pressing

Once you have designed the offer of dishes, you will only have to print it in order to present them to your customers. That is when we enter into action. And in Pressing we combine high quality printing with a fast and competitive service. You can choose between 3 menu models to get a completely customized result:

The paper menus are the classics that can not be missing from the table. Some restaurant managers are still betting on them. With a matt coated finish, they are synonym of elegance, and we give the possibility of printing both sides as well as laminating. With them you can make a diptic or triptic format.

PVC menus are more resistant and durable than paper menus. One of its advantages is easier to clean.

The menus of dibon are more resistant and rigid. They are a perfect and original alternative for paper menus.

You choose the menu format that you like the most, the amount you need to print and the time for delivery. More simple, impossible. Also, if you have any questions while creating your budget, you can always contact our team to resolve it.

By the way, are not you suddenly very hungry? And if we take a look at the menu of the restaurant that we have closer?
